Modern Warfare Single Player Review
*NO SPOILERS*
Overview
After playing multiplayer for some time, I knew that I soon had to make the switch over to play the single player campaign. From my deep rooted love of playing modern warfare as a kid, I can still imagine all or most of the missions to this day. After getting into the This new campaign and playing the first few missions a huge wave of nostalgia hit me and I couldn’t have been happier. Seeing Captain Price might have been a top 10 highlight of my 2019 so far because I love that badass mothaf@#$. I’ll hit on some points that I thought stood out to me about this campaign without ruining it for the people who haven’t played yet.
Graphic
First, the graphics are incredible even if you are running it on garbage settings. When a cut scene hits its hard to tell that the characters talking are not real. It looks like if Jack Ryan, Zero Dark 30 and Call of Duty had a threesome this is baby that would come out. It really is insane and would love to applaud Activison and blizzard for really nailing this one. There is really nothing bad I can say about the visual aspect of this game and would recommend anyone to play it. Show your mom, dad, wife, whoever a cut scene from this game and see if they can figure out if it’s a game not.
Missions
Without spoiling any of the missions or what happens i will keep this part short, but I think its important for me to hit on. The missions really are great, and the amount of backstory and content you get with each really immerges you into the game. The game is of course modern hence the name of the game, and you battle with terrorists. The game missions are essentially based around real Navy Seal activities, and you might even recognize some of the missions that you watched on the news.
Gameplay
The length of the campaign run time is between 4-5 hours so it is incredibly easy to binge and since you’re already up late you can hop right back onto multiplayer. I am telling you if you are getting pissed off at multiplayer and have been avoiding playing the campaign stop now. Everyone who loves playing video games or even call of duty needs to play this campaign. Stay Frosty, RUH RAH
