Music While You Game
Music
Playing Music while gaming sounds like a weird thing, the thought of drowning of the sound of the game you are playing with your own music seems almost counter productive. You would think you want to hear the sound of the game while you are playing, but in certain gaming environments even the pros play music while they play. I’m going over what I listen to when I play certain games and comment down below what you listen to what you game.
Rocket League
For playing Rocket League, it’s kind of interesting as the game actually plays music for you while you play it. Rocket League is actually known for its soundtracks and releases a new track every major update. There actually have been some really great songs that have been featured in the early Rocket League tracks, and the songs are becoming more and more popular from the games exposure. When I play rocket league I listen to mostly rap music actually, I feel like the flow of rap music goes really well with pace of rocket league. I listen to artists like Travis Scott, Asap Rocky & Asap Ferg when I play competitive. I don’t really know why but for some reason when going up for an ariel or landing perfectly it always syncs up perfectly with the songs. I have a spotify playlist that I will link at the end for whoever wants to check it out. The majority of people that I have talked to who play Rocket League listen to EDM or electronic music since that’s the stock music that Rocket League plays.
League of Legends
When I play League it’s kind of a tough with music, and I go back and forth on whether or not I play music when I play. A lot of streamers I see play a variety of different music, but its mostly a mix of rap music and EDM. The reason I go back and forth on playing music when playing League is because I feel I need to focus. The problem that really hits me is because I main in the bot lane and I need to hyper focus on making sure I kill all my minions while watching two other players in my lane try to kill me, and of course getting constantly ganked. I always go back and forth on whether it helps me or not when I play music. I either use my Rocket League playlist, or Spotify has a really good Lo-Fi Beats playlist I will also link that I will play sometimes when play.
World of Warcraft
Playing WOW is really easy for playing music, and it really helps pass the time when you are grinding levels. I have started to stop listening to music with lyrics when I play wow and mostly just listen to beats. I feel that the mix of the world sounds and some beats makes the experience a little easier. I also sometimes will put on Netflix if I have some long grinding time and I need some new sound to hear. It’s pretty easy to put on the office or some Tv series to have some background noise while I play. Comment down below what you do while you’re leveling and how you pass the time.
