Top Gaming Chairs Around

My Stories

Overview

Gaming chairs in the past few years have really started to blow up, and it feels like everyone and their mother is making a “racing game chair”. Over the past few years I have tried a few chairs and have made some random amazon chair purchases I know how different all the chairs can be. In todays age I think having a good chair for gaming is essential. It not only is important to have somewhere comfy to sit for prolonged hours of gaming, but the importance of having good posture and lumbar support. In todays age with the amount of people that have craned necks from gaming and looking at their phone, I believe nothing is more important than good posture. Given all of these things I’m going to go over some of the best chairs you can buy on the market.

*DISCLAIMER*

I am purely reviewing the chairs that would best chair for my size. I am 6 foot 175 pounds. If you are bigger or smaller check out brand website and sizing chart as every chair I review has bigger or smaller sizes.

Secretlab TITAN

These chairs have been in the market for a the past few years, and I’m sure if you’re reading this you have also seen a million ads for this chair. There is a reason every is talking about this chair and it honestly is because its such a f%$king great chair. The customization with it really is impeccable. It comes in their standard leather, a soft-weave fabric, and if you are rolling in cash they sell a $700 Nappa leather version incase you want to feel what its like to wear boxers in a Bentley racing seat. They also have some very cool colabs so you can get pro team designs on your chair or even Game of Thrones. Regardless of the flash the specs of this chair are actually impeccable. It has an integrated lumbar support so you can change your lumbar setting inside the chair. Even if you don’t shell out the cash for the Nappa, their patented leather will be sure to keep your balls nice and cool late at night. The adjustable arm rests, and tilt it really is a top of the line chair and if you want to invest, this should be at the top of your list.

NZXT x Vertagear SL5000

For all the ninja fan boys out there this is a chair I am sure you have seen this chair and have maybe even fantasized about it. But regardless this is a very nice chair through and through, and back on my point about posture and helping your crane neck this would be a good start. Again this isn’t a very cheap chair but I feel if you’re going to buy a chair at all you are much better off buying something that will last and is high quality. Similar to the Secret labs it has some nice color customization but this version that comes in the black and deep purple stands out very nice. Whether you’re a streamer or like me a low key gamer this will definitely turn some heads.

Noblechairs Hero

This is a chair that I am excited to talk about because it strays away from the common racing style chair you see everywhere. This is the chair that is happy to move away from style to make comfortability and health top priority while also making it high quality. This is a very firm chair and its almost main purpose is support for your body so if you prefer to melt into a soft cushion this isn’t your chair. This also is one of the more expensive chairs at its base, but in the chair game price ALMOST always directly correlates to quality and for this its true. Even if you are not a huge gamer and you want to show off at the office this is a really great chair if you spend a lot of time at a desk. It has all the bells and whistles as most of the chairs out there but it’s a great choice if comfort and health is your top concern. This chair will also fit most unless your 12 then I’d recommend something else.

DXRacer Classic Series

This in my opinion is my number one chair and is currently the chair I main on when i’m not at school and I think about this chair all the time. This was one of DXracers early chairs that was gifted to my by my brother when he got his king series and I would pick this chair any day of the week. One of the big reasons why I like this chair so much is that it doesn’t have highly protruded sides for your thighs that most chairs do have. The movement on it is very fluid, the  lean and tilt on it almost feels effortless, and the highly adjustable arm rest make me fall more in love. For those who have high or low desks this is a great chair as you can easily move it to the most optimal setting. Lastly one thing that makes me love about it is im able to sit “Indian style” on the chair while also having my spine up and my head back. For whatever reason I find this so comfortable, and I don’t feel like I’m slouching or craning my neck which tremendous helps my back. It is a very simple chair and does not have a lot to it but still easily a classic.

Final Thoughts

Honestly buying a chair I think is so hard because there is no possible way I can walk into a store and try out 5 different gaming chairs. Your only options are to read reviews like mine and take a shot in the dark or hope you have a friend that has the chair you want so you can try it. These chairs are investments that you will have for years so pick wisely and don’t be shy to dig deep for info.
